Friday 2nd
July. Day 1. From home in
Co. Derry to Newcastle upon Tyne for the ferry to Bergen via
Belfast and Stranraer. Click here

Saturday 3rd July.
Day 2. A large part of the day was
spent on the ferry, then Alex went to Forde to park for the night.

Sunday 4th
July. Day 3. 300 miles today
through beautiful scenery, finishing up in Opdal.

Monday 5th July.
Day 4. Alex is making good
progress in spite of the weather and the speed limits.

Tuesday 6th July.
Day 5. Rain all morning, but cleared
in the afternoon. Alex should make Nord Cap by Thursday.

Wednesday 7th July.
Day 6. Today takes Alex from Narvik to a little village
between Ovre Alta and Nyvoll, just 150kms further to the Nord Cap.

Day 7. The first major point on Alex's 2004 trip has been
reached, he arrived today at the Nord Cap. Click
