 Day 3.
Sunday 4th July. Distance 300 miles
Up at 8am and on the road for 9.30am making my way to
Trondheim. Scenery amazing with high mountains and mist covered
lakes. Tunnels, some 3500m long, twisty roads around Geranger
with cruise ships sailing up the Fjord. Lots of photos. Then
onto Trollstigen Falls and more very twisty roads, sharp right
angle bends then sharp left, dizzy stuff. Onto Opdal to a good
hotel, with my bike outside the back door. I had a good meal of
fresh trout while I listened to Rory Gallagher on the sound
system. That certainly brought back some memories. Had a great
nights sleep but woke from time to time to check on Sylvia (the
RT). It seemed quite bright outside.
