 Day 11.
Monday 12th July. Distance 237 miles.
Up at 9am, showered, shaved and on the road
by 9.45am. The Library wasn't open until 10am so found a little
cafe and had a quick breakfast. Back up to the library
which was packed but i was not allowed to upload pictures so I
just sent emails to friends. Back on the road to Jyvaskyla
and I couldn't help noticing that Lupins grew along the roadside
like weeds. Stopped in Jyvaskyla which was a very busy modern
city. I found an internet cafe called Avatar and uploaded
the pictures and trip reports in 15mins - 1Euro. Had a
meal and back on the bike to Mikkeli which I bypassed. So
onto Lahti on fast wide roads -120KPH. I eventually found
a hostel and parked the bike round the back. I talked to a
Suzuki dealer next door and he assured me the bike was safe.
Walked around this large town and visited Molly Malones for a
coffee. Not many Irish about that night.
