Monday 26th July.  Alex has finally made it home after 3 weeks, 15 countries and 6060 miles. See the Diary page for full details.
Ironically it is exactly a year since John and Gerry returned from their trip.

Day 23. Saturday 24th July. Distance 800 miles.

Today was a turning point.  Alex awoke in Prague, then decided that he had done enough travelling on this trip and turned his face for home.  880 miles through Germany, Holland, Belgium and France took him to Calais where he took a hotel for the night.
